སངས་རྒྱས་ཀྱི་བསྟན་པ། དབྱིན་བོད་ཤན་སྦྱར།

༧  སྡིག་པ་ཅི་ཡང་མི་བྱ་ཞིང་། ། 

Commit not one unwholesome deed, 

དགེ་བ་ཕུན་སུམ་ཚོགས་པར་སྤྱད། །

But gather a wealth of virtue, 

རང་གི་སེམས་ནི་ཡོངས་སུ་འདུལ། །

Subdue your mind in its entirety,

འདི་ནི་སངས་རྒྱས་བསྟན་པ་ཡིན། །

This is the Teaching of Buddha.

༧ཆོས་རྣམས་ཐམས་ཅད་རྒྱུ་ལས་བྱུང་།། 

All {contaminated}phenomena arise from causes, 

དེ་རྒྱུ་དེ་བཞིན་གཤེགས་པས་གསུངས།།

Which were described by the Tathagata,

དེ་ལ་འགོག་པ་གང་ཡིན་པ། ། 

That which leads to their cessation, 

དགེ་སྦྱོང་ཆེན་པོས་དེ་སྐད་གསུངས། །

Was also explained by the Paragon of Virtue.
